The NFLPA did not release a statement on the situation, which has led some to speculate if Goodell was mistreated.
Pete Morelli is in charge of officiating for the game between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. He said that he had no knowledge about any complaints from players or coaches because it wasn’t mentioned during pregame meetings.
Also, when asked about having an issue with either team’s officials this week being in violation of league policy, Morelli says “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Fans of the New Orleans Pelicans were eager to see what Zion Williamson might achieve in Year 3 after his outstanding performance in 2020-21. Williamson, on the other hand, has yet to play this season. In the offseason, he had surgery to fix a fractured right foot, and he is still in pain.

Williamson had an injection in his foot to speed up the healing process, which means he’ll be sidelined for another four to six weeks. Since the Pelicans have one of the poorest records in the NBA, few Pelicans supporters anticipate the Duke product to play this season.

New Orleans fans, on the other hand, will be disappointed by the newest report from Jake Madison of Locked on Pelicans, which portrays Williamson as a player who does not want to play for the Pelicans.

Zion Williamson is said to have skipped treatment and slept off during filming sessions.

Williamson, according to Madison, has missed rehab sessions and slept off during film studies. Williamson was caught on camera dozing off on the Pelicans’ bench during a game against the Detroit Pistons during his rookie season, so it wouldn’t surprise anybody if he slept off during film study.

“When it comes to trying to get him back out on the court, he has missed things he needed to be at the team for,” Madison said.

Rumors have circulated that Williamson no longer wants to play with the Pelicans. This summer, New Orleans has the option of signing Williamson to a rookie-scale deal, and CBA regulations are in place to incentivize players to remain with the club that picked them.

The Pelicans will have to move Williamson if he doesn’t take his rehab seriously and gives off the impression that he doesn’t want to be in New Orleans.

Is this Zion Williamson’s last game with the Pelicans?

Williamson and David Griffin don’t get along, according to a bombshell article from NOLA.com published before Pelicans media day. The Athletic reported earlier this summer that some members of Williamson’s family want to see him play for another club.

On media day, Williamson said that he enjoys playing for the Pelicans, but his actions behind the scenes send a different picture. Griffin reportedly irked the All-Star when he dealt J.J. Redick last season, and he didn’t show up for OTAs before the start of this season, according to The Athletic.

Since joining the NBA, Williamson has only appeared in 85 games with the Pelicans. He’s already had two major operations and is playing for a team that couldn’t get Chris Paul or Anthony Davis to agree to play for them. If Williamson doesn’t trust Griffin or the Pelicans’ training staff, the ownership group in New Orleans has to fire Griffin and appoint a new general manager, or move Zion for a blockbuster deal.

It’s a shame Williamson’s season has ended the way it did. When he’s on the floor, he’s been a lot of fun to watch, and Pelicans and basketball fans all around the globe want to see him play. After all of the injury setbacks and rumors, New Orleans fans may be becoming upset with Williamson, but there’s little question they’d alter their minds if the North Carolina native ultimately suited up and played inspirational ball.

When Zanos is on the field, he seems to be a once-in-a-generation talent.

In 85 NBA games, Williamson has averaged 25.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists while shooting 60.4 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 68.3 percent from the line. In the first 15 games of his career, he scored 362 points. In their first 15 NBA games, only Michael Jordan, Bernard King, and Terry Cummings scored more points.

In Williamson’s first two seasons, Pelicans fans were enthralled by everything he did. This season, Zanos was expected to make the jump to superstardom and lead New Orleans to the playoffs. However, Williamson’s fractured foot has pushed things back, and it’s now unclear if he’ll play for the Pelicans again.

The Pelicans should move Williamson if he’s missing rehabs and falling asleep during film sessions. It’s impossible for the franchise’s face to behave unprofessionally and get away with it. Only time will tell how this scenario plays out, but things in New Orleans in the post-Davis era aren’t looking good.

Because Zion Williamson is overweight, Kendrick Perkins believes he shouldn’t play until the 2022-23 season. ‘Get a Dietitian,’ says the narrator.
